On May 28, 2026, Kevin O’Donnell, PLCAC Executive Director, attended the 21st annual Calgary Energy Roundtable conference. The PLCAC was a sponsor of the conference, which brought together industry leaders, stakeholders and policymakers to discuss the future of Canada’s energy sector.
The panel discussions, led by Canada’s energy leaders and politicians, highlighted the current geopolitical landscape in Canada and how it presents a unique opportunity for Canada to expand its market share and strengthen its global energy security.
The discussions emphasized the importance of immediate and continued collaboration between government and the energy industry to advance responsible resource development, attract investment, create high-paying jobs, and support long-term economic growth in Canada.
