The Pipe Line Contractors Association of Canada (PLCAC) holds its Annual General Meeting at the Annual Convention. It is a gathering that brings together Canada’s unionized pipeline construction industry, contractors, associate members, pipeline owners, Indigenous leaders, government officials, members of sister associations from around the world, and members’ families. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, meetings, and social events, attendees explore the issues shaping the future of the pipeline sector including workforce development, Indigenous partnerships, labour relations, advocacy, safety and major infrastructure projects. The convention is a valuable forum for building lasting relationships with industry leaders, sharing knowledge, and advancing Canada’s pipeline industry.

The Pipe Line Contractors Association (PLCAC) participates in and hosts several industry events that bring leaders from across the pipeline, energy, labour, Indigenous, and government sectors. These events are valuable opportunities for the exchange of ideas, the discussion of issues shaping Canada’s pipeline construction industry, and the building of business relationships.

The Canadian Pipeline Advisory Council (CPAC) participates in the Energy Roundtable that brings together senior industry executives, government representatives, Indigenous leaders and labour partners.

Through the Canadian Pipeline Advisory Council (PLCAC), the PLCAC participates in the Indigenous Resources Opportunities Conference (IROC). This annual conference brings together Indigenous leaders, government officials and industry representatives to explore opportunities for collaboration, economic development and meaningful partnerships between the Indigenous communities and businesses across Canada.

Furthermore, the PLCAC and CPAC attend and host an event at the BC Natural Resources Forum in Prince George, BC. The forum is a non-partisan arena for information and dialogue about the latest opportunities, partnerships, and trends that make a difference in BC resources sector. It highlights the collaboration among First Nations, government entities and the resource sector in BC.
